About This Role
- Own and design the security posture of Azure cloud environments including tenants, subscriptions, landing zones, and network architectures with secure controls and guardrails.
- Lead and operate enterprise security platforms (CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Rapid7, Wiz, Microsoft Defender for Cloud) and SIEM/SOAR tools including Microsoft Sentinel for threat detection, analytics, and automation.
- Drive cloud security incident response, continuous compliance, risk reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure secure cloud adoption at scale.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years specifically in Azure cloud security architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Azure identity and access management (Azure RBAC, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM).
- Proven expertise with enterprise security tools including CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Rapid7, Wiz, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Strong SIEM/SOAR engineering experience including Microsoft Sentinel, automation playbooks, and threat intelligence integration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and operating Azure Landing Zones following Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework security standards.
- Skilled in implementing automation-first security controls using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Bicep, Git, YAML in CI/CD pipelines.
- Able to lead incident response and collaborate with SOC and multiple security vendors, with a deep understanding of network security architectures including Azure Firewall, WAF, Private Endpoints, and Zero Trust.
