About This Role
- Lead the design, development, and end-to-end delivery of scalable Java-based microservices and backend applications using Spring Boot and related technologies.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture, code reviews, mentoring, and adoption of best engineering practices.
- Drive DevOps and cloud-native practices including CI/CD automation, containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, and cloud deployments (AWS preferred).
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java 8+ and Enterprise Java technologies.
- Proven experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, Hibernate/ORM, Kafka or similar event-driven messaging technologies.
- Work Experience Required: 10+ years in software development relevant to role.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in large-scale, performance-sensitive distributed systems preferably within FinTech, Banking, Payments or Financial Services domains.
- Demonstrated ability to own full software delivery lifecycle from requirements to production support in a cloud-native environment.
- Strong technical leadership skills with an emphasis on mentoring, stakeholder collaboration, and adherence to engineering best practices.
