About This Role
- Manage and operate high-performance Linux-based data capture systems for capital markets data pipelines.
- Develop and maintain automation using Ansible for server provisioning and configuration management.
- Support deployment, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies for application and OS updates, including containerized applications in production.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 7+ years of professional experience with Linux, preferably RHEL or derivatives (CentOS, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux).
- 5+ years experience with Bash and/or Python scripting; experience with Ansible automation tool required.
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing containerized applications (Docker, Podman) in production.
- Must be willing to work US Eastern hours for initial 6 months training and occasional weekends; English proficiency required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Linux server architecture including performance and latency tuning within high throughput data environments.
- Comfortable with data pipeline management tasks like data copying, scheduling, Linux daemons, and networking diagnostics (Wireshark/tcpdump).
- Proficient in version control and CI/CD pipeline management using GitLab/GitHub, with knowledge of AWS CLI, S3, and Rsync for data operations.
