About This Role
- Lead firmware development, architecture, and design decisions for embedded motor control and protection products, ensuring alignment with company software platforms and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Coordinate cross-functional global teams covering Firmware, Systems, Hardware, Cybersecurity, V&V, and more, managing project planning, design reviews, and technical risk throughout product lifecycle.
- Drive firmware quality, risk mitigation, verification & validation, industrialization, and lifecycle management including technical escalations and compliance with cybersecurity and reliability standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years in Embedded Firmware Development with at least 5 years in technical leadership roles.
- Strong hands-on experience (7+ years) in Embedded C/C++, RTOS, embedded software architecture, ARM Cortex MCUs, device drivers, bootloaders, and motor control domain.
- Experience with firmware for motor management products, control systems, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus TCP, CAN/CANopen, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET/Profibus).

- Experienced technical leader with a background in embedded firmware architecture and development for motor control or industrial automation products.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary and global engineering teams including Firmware, Systems, Hardware, Cybersecurity, and Verification & Validation.
- Strong expertise in motor protection algorithms, firmware risk management, cybersecurity best practices, and managing hardware/software integration in industrial environments.
