About This Role
- Design and development of OS platform capabilities and edge services using C++, Linux, Docker, focusing on industrial IoT protocols and reliable embedded/industrial computing.
- Ownership and troubleshooting of complex software integrations across applications, OS, containers, networks, and third-party components with root-cause analysis.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver platform outcomes including creating architecture decisions, interface specifications, and technical documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex production software or platform components.
- Expertise in Ubuntu Linux, C++ programming, Docker containers, and Industrial IoT protocols such as MQTT, Modbus TCP/RTU, BACnet, and OPC UA.
- Experience with embedded Linux and industrial computing devices, including gateways and controllers in resource- and network-constrained environments.
- Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or related fields.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and maintaining software architecture for industrial IoT edge systems including multi-threading, memory management, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical investigations, architecture decisions, and guide delivery across multiple teams in agile and distributed settings.
- Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols, embedded Linux development, and integrating software with industrial devices and unreliable networks.
