About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain sub-components of the Loan Portfolio Mitigation Application (IRIS) in Java microservices ecosystem.
- Provide technical oversight, mentor a small Java developer team, and ensure delivery aligned with business and technology requirements.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and stakeholders to manage development lifecycle and sprint progress reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of IT experience with proven enterprise-scale application development expertise.
- Expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Microservices, and Oracle/MSSQL including complex SQL query tuning.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, CI/CD tools (Sonar, Harness, Tekton, Git), testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium), and Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science or equivalent).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior-level developer comfortable owning end-to-end Java microservices components in financial risk applications.
- Experienced mentor capable of guiding development teams and resolving architectural and process challenges.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum and proficient in collaboration with varied technical and business stakeholders.
