About This Role
- Establish, scale, and lead enterprise FinOps practice across cloud and on-premises technology estates, embedding financial accountability and cost transparency.
- Own enterprise cost visibility, spend governance, savings enablement, and cost-aware design guidelines across technology platforms.
- Partner with Finance, Platform, Application teams, and vendors to implement cost-saving strategies, enforce governance, and drive a culture of cost awareness.
Minimum Requirements
- 10–12+ years experience in FinOps, IT financial management, or technology cost optimization with senior or lead capacity.
- Proven experience leading enterprise FinOps practice across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Expertise in cloud hyperscale platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises cost management; FinOps certifications and cloud cost/cloud architecture certifications are a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced FinOps leader with deep hands-on knowledge of both cloud and on-premises financial governance and cost optimization.
- Skilled at cross-functional stakeholder management including Finance, Engineering, and vendor relations, influencing cost culture and accountability.
- Proven ability to implement financial controls, budgeting, showback/chargeback models, and savings strategies at enterprise scale.
