Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
4–7 years of experience in data governance, information governance, or enterprise data management.
Working knowledge of regulatory and privacy frameworks such as CCPA, GLBA, ERISA, SEC/FINRA and ability to translate these into governance controls.
Familiarity with metadata/catalog tools (e.g., Collibra) and experience with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) with basic SQL proficiency.
Experience leading governance initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments with demonstrated ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Strong understanding of both structured and unstructured data governance, including taxonomy and classification frameworks.
Exposure to AI governance, model risk, or responsible AI practices to contribute to emerging governance areas.
