About This Role
- Design, develop, modernize, and support the ITEMS application ecosystem including frontend, backend, and data engineering components.
- Lead moderately complex initiatives delivering solutions spanning Angular, Java, Python, PySpark, and SQL Server technologies, including cloud-based data platforms and Informatica-to-DLF migration.
- Provide technical leadership, resolve complex issues, design scalable APIs, and mentor less experienced staff across multiple technology stacks.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of Software Engineering experience (including work experience, training, military experience, or education).
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience with Angular and Java.
- 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience and 2+ years of hands-on PySpark development experience.
- Experience with SQL Server and enterprise ETL/data processing frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technologist capable of handling full stack modern enterprise application development including frontend (Angular), backend (Java Spring Boot), and data engineering (Python, PySpark).
- Experienced in cloud-native development, data lake architectures, and migrations (Informatica to Data Lake Framework).
- Strong leadership and problem-solving ability to lead projects, guide teams, and work independently in a regulated financial environment.
