Sr Manager of Software Engineering - Fullstack Java & React

Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship for multiple software engineering teams developing scalable financial technology solutions.

Define and drive technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for complex, large-scale systems using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, AWS, PostgreSQL, and microservices.

Oversee end-to-end software delivery, including code quality, automation of recurring issues, AI-assisted engineering practices, and collaboration with product and business stakeholders.

15+ years of professional experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles.

Strong proficiency in Java and working knowledge of SQL and React.js; experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL RDBMS, cloud provisioning tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation is mandatory.

Formal education in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field with software engineering concept training; experience leading technologists managing complex technical issues.

Experience in financial services IT systems and demonstrated knowledge of software development best practices, agile methodologies, and AI-assisted development tools.

Experienced leader capable of managing multi-team adoption of new technologies and enterprise AI-assisted engineering workflows in financial services.

Technical expert with hands-on experience in scalable microservices architectures, cloud-native applications, and production software delivery in a regulated environment.

Strong in strategic technical planning, governance of secure and resilient AI tools, and capable of influencing leadership on safe scaling of engineering practices.
