About This Role
- Own UX and usability aspects of SOLIDWORKS mechanical design software products from initial design to release.
- Create wireframes, UI mockups, and prototypes; conduct user research and usability testing to identify and resolve UX problems.
- Lead design reviews, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with stakeholders for UX improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a UX Designer with a mandatory portfolio of previous design work.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, or related field.
- Strong background in CAD; experience with SOLIDWORKS or other 3D CAD software is desirable but not mandatory.
- Work Experience Required: 3-5 years as UX Designer.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in engineering, technology, or product design environments, especially involving CAD applications.
- Proven ability to rapidly sketch, prototype, and articulate design ideas both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated skills in conducting and applying user research and usability testing to improve product UX.
