About This Role
- Lead complex and large-scale technology initiatives, including companywide projects, setting engineering standards and best practices.
- Design, code, test, debug, document software projects; review and analyze complex technology solutions aligning with strategic business objectives.
- Lead and mentor teams, make architectural decisions, collaborate with senior technical experts, and ensure deliverables are met in Agile/Product model environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through education, training, or military experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java 11+, microservices (REST/GraphQL), Spring Framework, Web Services (REST/SOAP), messaging systems (Kafka, JMS), cloud technologies (AWS/PCF/Azure), and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, code management tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Gradle) and familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, CloudWatch, AppDynamics, Grafana).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader comfortable operating independently and leading teams in Agile and DevOps environments within the banking domain.
- Deep technical knowledge in full-stack Java development, microservices architecture, cloud-native technologies, and modern front-end frameworks (AngularJS, ReactJS) is a plus.
- Capable of driving modernization strategies, setting engineering standards, performing code reviews, mentoring others, and aligning technology solutions with strategic business goals.
