About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, two-way integrations between Rippling and ERP systems like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Dynamics 365, and Oracle, enabling real-time accounting workflows.
- Own medium-to-large features end-to-end including requirements gathering, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and iteration with minimal oversight.
- Lead technical excellence through code quality, testing, performance improvements, and production support including debugging and incident response.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend or full-stack systems shipped end-to-end.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js, with experience in RESTful or gRPC APIs.
- Deep experience building integrations or middleware, ideally connecting to ERPs (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Dynamics 365, Oracle).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building robust integrations with financial or ERP systems, demonstrating strong backend engineering skills at scale.
- Able to translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable technical solutions and effectively collaborate cross-functionally with product, UX, and internal/external teams.
- Comfortable leading architectural discussions, mentoring peers, handling production incidents, and driving technical initiatives in a high-velocity, continuous delivery environment.
