About This Role
- Lead technology selection and architecture decisions for the frontend within the product area, focusing on scalable and innovative solutions.
- Drive engineering excellence through authoring RFCs/ADRs, maintaining observability standards, and implementing advanced monitoring.
- Mentor engineers across frontend, backend, and mobile; lead code reviews; manage technical risks and cross-team dependencies.
Minimum Requirements
- 7–8 years of professional experience in front-end/web development.
- Expert-level proficiency in React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Proven experience architecting and leading complex, scalable frontend systems with strong architecture principles (DDD, clean architecture, event-driven patterns).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally GCP, including CDN and edge/serverless patterns.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in driving technical strategy and making high-level technical decisions independently in complex, ambiguous contexts.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills including mentoring, stakeholder management, and resolving cross-team dependencies.
- Deep expertise in modern frontend ecosystems and advanced patterns such as micro-frontends, server-side rendering, and module federation, combined with backend and mobile technical understanding.
