About This Role
- Develop and implement talent pipeline strategies for deck and engine crew to meet FML India’s crewing requirements and budget.
- Monitor and ensure quality and performance of FML crew in India through metrics, appraisals, and collaboration with HR and department heads.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, oversee day-to-day operations including employee engagement, and manage department budget and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- Work Experience Required: Proven success leading multiple crew management teams in a global ship management organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Management or relevant field.
- Strong understanding of maritime industry, crew management, and ship management operations.
- Experience engaging and managing relationships with crew management companies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader familiar with global ship management, especially in crew sourcing and performance management.
- Strategic operator capable of integrating manpower planning with organizational crewing strategies.
- Ability to manage cross-functional collaboration, budget adherence, and continuous operational improvements within a maritime crew management context.
