About This Role
- Plan, organize, and control production of metal recovery plant operations including slag evacuation, transportation, and scrap processing in a steel manufacturing environment.
- Lead and manage a multi-shift site operations team including team leads, shift in-charges, and equipment operators to ensure efficient, timely, and budget-compliant production.
- Coordinate with maintenance and customers, implement quality control, and manage production budgets and cost control programs.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Production Technology, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering with at least 15 years experience in steel melt shop or blast furnace operations OR diploma in above fields with 20 years steel manufacturing experience.
- Proven experience managing production in steel manufacturing or related heavy industry environments.
- Good computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and HTML usage.
- Work Experience Required: At least 15 years for degree holders or 20 years for diploma holders in steel manufacturing industry.

- Data-driven manager comfortable with production data metrics and analytics to drive operational improvements.
