About This Role
- Own and evolve enterprise cloud architecture across multi-region AWS environments, ensuring alignment with business, security, and compliance objectives.
- Lead cloud migration programs from legacy on-premises to cloud-native platforms, including hybrid cloud governance and multi-region architecture design.
- Provide architectural governance, mentorship, and serve as final escalation for complex infrastructure decisions within payments industry context with PCI DSS compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years in cloud infrastructure/platform engineering with at least 4 years in senior architect or principal engineer role.
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification mandatory; AWS specialty certifications (Networking, Security) highly regarded.
- Experience with multi-region AWS architectures, cloud migration tools/practices (e.g., AWS MAP, MGN, DMS), Terraform & Terragrunt, and GitLab CI/CD expected.
- At least 3+ years architecture experience in payments or regulated financial services environment with strong knowledge of PCI DSS compliance.
