Lead Data Engineer

Design and manage CRM data engineering for segmentation, member aggregation, campaigns, and reporting using large-scale MySQL and Redshift datasets.

Own reliability and performance of data pipelines, replication, and query infrastructure supporting product squads and CRM data platform.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful data capabilities driving measurable studio outcomes, and provide mentorship on data modeling and query optimization.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field preferred.

6+ years experience in data engineering and/or backend data roles; prior lead or tech lead experience preferred.

Strong expertise in SQL, data pipelines (ETL/ELT/event-driven replication), and AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure for data platforms.

Experience with distributed SQL engines (e.g., Trino) and analytical model design on cloud warehouses (Amazon Redshift or equivalent).

Experienced lead-level data engineer skilled in designing and optimizing large-scale data platforms in Agile/Lean environments.

Proficient with complex SQL, distributed query engines, and cloud data infrastructure, with a focus on CRM/marketing-tech data platforms.

Comfortable mentoring others and working cross-functionally to deliver production-grade data capabilities aligned with business outcomes.
