About This Role
- Design, build, and operate the durable execution layer underpinning AI agent workflows in an ERP platform, focusing on Restate runtime deployment and workflow-as-data engine.
- Ensure multi-step ERP workflows have exactly-once execution, crash survival, and maintain SOX-grade audit trails with governance and audit integration.
- Manage Kubernetes-based Restate clusters, implement virtual object and awakeable patterns for business processes, and develop configurable workflow templates with audit and compliance controls.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years software engineering experience with strong Java or Kotlin proficiency.
- 3+ years experience with distributed systems including event sourcing, state machines, or workflow engines.
- Production experience with at least one durable execution or workflow orchestration platform such as Restate, Temporal, or AWS Step Functions.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience involving StatefulSets, persistent storage, and operator configuration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Expert in distributed systems engineering and AI agent architecture for enterprise ERP workflows across financial domains.
- Experienced with durable execution platforms and event-driven architectures ensuring exactly-once semantics and compliance logging.
- Skilled in operating large Kubernetes clusters and managing complex workflow engines with governance via policy-as-code (OPA/Rego).
