About This Role
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to technical teams, contractors, and vendors, influencing product design and application functionality.
- Develop, review, and debug secure, high-quality production code, and drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
- Act as a subject matter expert in multiple areas, promoting reuse of proven patterns and automation within the SDLC toolchain and contributing to firmwide engineering frameworks, tools, and practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of applied experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Advanced proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
- Demonstrated experience leading the effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to validate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Practical experience with cloud native technologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in driving technical decisions independently with minimal oversight, particularly in complex design and functionality challenges.
- Strong expertise in responsible AI use within engineering workflows, including compliance with data sensitivity, security standards, and resiliency requirements.
- Background in platform engineering or related roles that align with managing engineering tools, automation, and governance within large-scale software development life cycles.
