About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services for business process management and workflow automation using Java, Spring Boot, Camunda 7, and RabbitMQ.
- Own solution design, architecture, technical decisions along with product discovery contributions to improve process automation capabilities.
- Ensure production reliability and resolve complex workflow issues like stuck or failed processes, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, REST APIs, transactions, persistence, and databases.
- Practical experience with Camunda 7 or comparable BPM/workflow engine, and RabbitMQ or similar messaging platform.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate and/or jOOQ, Hexagonal Architecture / Ports & Adapters, and JUnit 5 testing frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and operating production backend services focused on complex workflow and asynchronous processing.
- Familiar with designing clean domain boundaries applying Hexagonal Architecture and managing technical trade-offs in product engineering contexts.
- Comfortable participating in early discovery phases, problem-solving beyond specs, and collaboratively influencing product and architecture decisions.
