About This Role
- Lead moderately complex technical initiatives including design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation within software engineering projects.
- Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges while guiding and providing direction to less experienced staff.
- Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to meet client needs and contribute to large scale planning of technology strategies.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience in Application Design and Development using Java and Microservices for 4+ years.
- Experience with Database Technologies such as Oracle and MongoDB.
- Experience or familiarity with Spring Boot, Agile environments (Scrum), Kafka, and exposure to cloud migration (Google Cloud, Azure, or PCF).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in investment banking domain, especially reference data, evidenced by work experience or projects.
- Strong operating experience in Agile development and collaboration with stakeholders and vendors.
- Capable of leading technical projects, reviewing complex modules, and adapting engineering best practices leveraging emerging technologies such as GENI Copilot and automation frameworks like BDD-Cucumber.
