About This Role
- Contribute to low to moderate complexity technology projects including development, upgrades, and deployment initiatives.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions with support from senior team members, leveraging approved AI-assisted development tools.
- Identify and recommend improvements for service quality, availability, and developer efficiency within the technology domain, while adhering to security and compliance policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent (work experience, training, military experience, education).
- Experience with Java, Kafka, and Python programming languages or relevant frameworks.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery practices.
- Awareness of security, risk, data privacy, compliance, and responsible AI tool usage requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Engineer with practical experience integrating AI tools (code assistants, test generation, documentation) to enhance development productivity and code quality.
- Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues using traditional debugging methods combined with AI-assisted analysis.
- Capable of working within prescribed engineering standards and risk/compliance controls, showing incremental growth in technical skills and responsible AI usage.
