About This Role
- Manage end-to-end monthly close for StockX platform revenue, including journal entries and payment processor reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve exceptions and improve accounting processes related to high volume, multi-currency transactions.
- Partner with Data Engineering and Product teams to implement and adapt accounting treatments for platform and product changes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years progressive experience in US GAAP accounting, with basic knowledge of ASC 606 or ability to learn from IFRS/Ind AS foundation.
- Experience analyzing high volume, multi-currency global transactions and proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools.
- Work Experience Required: 3+ years in accounting roles involving US GAAP and revenue recognition.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in payment processing reconciliations and exception resolution within a marketplace or platform environment.
- Ability to work across international time zones and communicate accounting impacts effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-growth environments and leveraging technology (including AI/automation) to enhance accounting workflows.
