About This Role
- Maintain and ensure security and availability of Mainframe systems using IBM’s cloud-hosted z/OS development and test environments.
- Install, configure, upgrade, tune, troubleshoot Mainframe z/OS OS and security products (RACF, ACF2, TSS); automate manual tasks via scripting and configuration management.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering and IT groups; assist in change management, performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and testing of new Mainframe connector releases.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience as a System Administrator in an enterprise environment with Mainframe z/OS and security products (RACF, ACF2, TSS).
- Experience with installing/configuring Mainframe z/OS, z/VM, z/PDT, HDISV, REXX, JCL, SMP/E.
- Ability to work after hours including weekends and nights when required.

- Experienced in maintaining and supporting Mainframe environments especially on cloud-hosted services with strong operational ownership.
- Skilled in automating manual/repetitive tasks and improving operational efficiency using scripting and configuration management.
- Proven ability to manage multitasking, meet deadlines, and communicate technical information effectively to diverse teams.
