About This Role
- Translate Logical Application Designs into Infrastructure Aligned Deployments in collaboration with Application Developers and Architects.
- Create detailed technical designs including diagrams and bills of materials for engineering build, deployment, and post-deployment validation.
- Drive cross-functional engineering solutions spanning compute, storage, network, databases, and AWS platform services.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years experience in cross-functional engineering involving compute, storage, network, DBMS, shared services integration, and AWS platform.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, VPC, EBS/EFS/FSx/S3, RDS, Aurora), Kubernetes (OpenShift, EKS), network and security components (firewalls, Identity & Access Management, Secrets Management, PKI).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in multi-disciplinary infrastructure engineering with ability to integrate shared services like Apigee, PING, Redis, Kafka, IBM MQ, HashiCorp Vault, Snowflake.
- Skilled in designing complex, multi-region, highly available deployments including disaster recovery considerations.
- Comfortable working across compute, storage, network, and database domains with strong AWS cloud platform exposure.
