About This Role
- Own end-to-end design, development, and production deployment of large-scale Java microservices using Spring Boot on AWS EKS.
- Lead cloud-native architecture modernization by migrating monolith systems to AWS EKS microservices and defining patterns like autoscaling, service mesh, and 12-factor app principles.
- Drive operational excellence via incident troubleshooting, resilience pattern implementation, performance tuning, observability setup, and close collaboration with DevOps on CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
Minimum Requirements
- 10–18 years of software engineering experience with at least 7 years on backend large-scale systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8+ including Java 11/17/21, and expert knowledge of Spring Boot 2.x/3.x microservices framework.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native services including EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, containerization (Docker/OCI), and Kubernetes best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

- Experienced technical leader with deep expertise in Java microservices architecture and cloud-native migration on AWS EKS.
- Skilled at performance optimization, JVM tuning, resilience patterns, and driving production reliability in distributed systems.
- Familiar with modern DevOps practices, observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana, distributed tracing), and incident management at scale.
