About This Role
- Develop and maintain new systems to support innovative speech-backed visuals on Alexa devices like Echo Show and Echo Spot.
- Collaborate with other Amazon and third-party teams to integrate services ensuring minimal latency and high reliability at scale.
- Work on device frameworks, web services, APIs, and large-scale data infrastructure to drive feature innovation.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
- 4+ years experience in system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred but not strictly mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience building software for complex, scalable systems with emphasis on performance and reliability.
- Comfortable working in a cross-functional, Agile/Scrum environment collaborating with UX and product teams.
- Skilled in developing software that integrates device-side frameworks, cloud services, and APIs for consumer electronics products.
