About This Role
- Design and implement data center infrastructure solutions tailored to customer needs, including planning floor layouts, rack elevations, cable deployment, and point-to-point design.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and partners to execute large-scale data center projects and support NVIDIA product deployments.
- Oversee on-site work by vendors and third-party partners, update documentation, and contribute to Data Center Standards revisions.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a data center infrastructure or field service engineer with background in designing and implementing data center infrastructures.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, network equipment, and solid understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Ability and willingness to travel is required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure deployment including simulation and detailed planning activities such as cable deployment and port assignments.
- Experience collaborating with R&D and network engineering teams, preferably with network certifications like CCIE or expertise in InfiniBand technology.
- Strong documentation skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-functional team environments.
