PwC brand, generalist BA title, mid-level experience, metro location and broad banking requirements drive high competition.
Role demands deep retail banking, regulatory, and core-banking expertise, making cross-industry transferability limited.
Explicit 4–7 years plus mandatory retail banking domain skills and core-banking/BRD/UAT requirements increase shortlisting strictness.
Own and optimize retail banking processes covering Deposits, Lending, and Payments from discovery through rollout and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with business, operations, risk/compliance, and technology teams to drive process efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Lead documentation (BRD/FRD, BPMN process maps, SOPs), functional solutioning, UAT planning/execution, process metrics tracking, and training support for business and operations users.
3-5 years of experience in retail banking process consulting with exposure to Deposits, Lending, or Payments; cross-domain exposure preferred.
Postgraduate or professional degree (MBA and BE/BTech specifically mentioned) is required.
Strong regulatory knowledge of RBI, KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, NPCI guidelines, Fair Practices Code, IRAC/NPA norms, and card dispute rules.
Experience in documenting BRD/FRD, BPMN process mapping, SOPs, and leading UAT is mandatory.
Experienced in managing end-to-end retail banking processes with proficiency in Core Banking systems (e.g., Finacle/Flexcube) and integration touchpoints.
Capable of applying process optimization techniques like Lean/Six Sigma, with awareness of Green Belt preferred.
Strong at stakeholder management translating business requirements into functional solutions, adept at compliance and risk control coordination.
