About This Role
- Lead end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for Nexen Power’s Renewable Energy division portfolio (~600 MW) covering Solar, Wind, Hybrid, and BESS projects.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including billing, revenue recognition, balance sheet closure, project accounting, and financial governance, while leading a team of accountants.
- Support project finance activities including financial modelling, IRR calculation, budgeting, forecasting and coordinate treasury, compliance, audits, and working capital management.
Minimum Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; CA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com considered.
- 3 to 8+ years of Finance & Accounts experience; Renewable Energy / IPP / Infrastructure sector experience preferred.
- Experience handling balance sheet closure independently is mandatory.
- Work Experience Required: 3 to 8+ years
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in renewable energy or independent power producer (IPP) accounting and project finance with exposure to IRR calculations and financial modelling.
- Capable of managing a small team and driving financial governance and process improvements in accounting.
- Strong in financial reporting, MIS generation, statutory compliance, and audit coordination with proficiency in Excel and SAP ERP.
