About This Role
- Manage lease accounting activities including balance sheet reconciliation, JV posting, and cash flow preparation under Controllership.
- Handle audit queries, SOX compliance, and address internal control and auditor questions to maintain healthy accounts.
- Identify and propose automation opportunities within lease accounting processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified CA/CWA with 1 to 2 years experience in GL accounting within Controllership or Shared Services in Service/Manufacturing industry.
- 3 to 5 years overall experience in Accounting & Finance including balance sheet reconciliations, GL accounting, period end closing in Shared Services environment.
- Experience or exposure to lease accounting tools (e.g., Lease Accelerator, Co-star) and lease accounting preferred but not mandatory.
- Preferred background in IT/Telecom industry; experience supporting Finance in IT Services or integrated offshore business finance support is beneficial.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Controllership function with a focus on balance sheet reconciliation and lease accounting processes.
- Comfortable working in shared services or offshore business finance support models involving GL accounting and period end reporting.
- Proactive in identifying process improvements and automation within accounting workflows.
