About This Role
- Lead and build firmware engineering teams at a new Bengaluru site, enabling architects and leads to set technical strategy in Cloud Compute and Network Switching domains.
- Manage site operations including office space, budgeting, hiring, and facilities expansion.
- Foster collaborative engineering environments and implement advanced, transparent development processes and standards while supporting global firmware leadership alignment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- 15+ years of firmware design and engineering experience with 5+ years in management roles.
- Strong knowledge of C++, server BMC and OpenBMC experience preferred, with required understanding of CI/CD, source control (git), Jenkins, JIRA; Linux working knowledge required.
- Excellent command of English; willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience leading firmware development teams in Cloud Compute or Network Switching domains with strategic and operational management capabilities.
- Technical expertise spanning server BMC, firmware development best practices, and modern software tools with ability to support and resolve technical leadership challenges.
- Experience handling site-level resource management including budgeting, hiring, and facilities in a global engineering context.
