About This Role
- Translate logical application designs into infrastructure-aligned deployments working closely with developers and architects.
- Create detailed technical designs including diagrams and bill of materials to guide engineering teams in build and deployment.
- Integrate multiple infrastructure domains such as compute, storage, network, database services, and shared service applications on AWS and Kubernetes platforms.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cross-functional engineering encompassing compute, storage, network, DBMS, shared services integration, and AWS platform.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (not strictly mandatory).
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, VPC, Security Groups, Cloud WAN, EBS/EFS/FSx/S3, NLB), Kubernetes (OpenShift/EKS), Identity & Access Management, databases (AWS RDS, Aurora), and application integration technologies (Apigee, PING, Redis, Kafka, IBM MQ, Vault, Snowflake).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in multi-discipline infrastructure engineering blending compute, storage, network, database, and security services on cloud and container platforms.
- Skilled in designing infrastructure solutions that align closely with application architecture requirements for production readiness.
- Well-versed in integrating and managing AWS cloud services, Kubernetes environments, and shared service applications in complex environments.
