Strong Ericsson brand, metro locations, and a mid-level generalist cloud title drive high candidate competition.
Telco CNIS, Ericsson-specific tools, and specialized CNF skills reduce cross-industry transferability.
Explicit 4–12 years plus mandatory Kubernetes, CNIs, Rook/Ceph, and telco CNIS skills indicate high strictness.
Design, deploy, configure, and operate Ericsson CNIS-based cloud-native infrastructure on bare-metal or virtual platforms.
Manage Kubernetes clusters (ECCD, Rancher, kubeadm), CNIs (Multus, Calico, SR-IOV), CSI storage (Rook/Ceph), and perform CNF lifecycle management including Helm deployments, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Monitor infrastructure health, manage network configurations including BGP peering and VLAN/VXLAN overlays, implement security policies, and use monitoring tools like Prometheus/Grafana and Netcool & OMC for RCA and observability.
4–12 years experience in cloud-native infrastructure or telecom platforms.
Strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and CNIs (Multus, Calico, SR-IOV), storage solutions (Rook/Ceph), Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu), and networking (L2/L3, BGP, VLAN, Juniper/Extreme switches).
Experience using Helm, YAML, Git and Ericsson tools including ENM, CENX, EO-EVNFM, OMC, and ESM.
Familiarity with Ericsson CNIS framework is strongly preferred; Academic credentials must be from recognized institutions.
Experienced in operating and troubleshooting complex Kubernetes-based telecom infrastructure with strong focus on CNF lifecycle and infrastructure resilience.
Knowledgeable in integrating cloud-native networking and storage solutions along with telecom-grade monitoring and security implementations.
Comfortable working with Ericsson-specific tools and frameworks indicating prior telecom domain exposure and understanding of Ericsson CNIS architecture.
