About This Role
- Set technical direction and design secure infrastructure and developer platforms embedded with security controls by default.
- Own security posture and reliability of key services like Kubernetes control planes, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, secrets management, PKI, and IAM governance.
- Lead cross-team incident response, blameless post-mortems, and automate security/compliance through policy-as-code to reduce toil and shorten remediation time.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years related experience, or Master's with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years related experience.
- 5+ years hands-on production experience with major cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) including IAM, KMS/secrets management, and network controls.
- 3+ years building production automation/tooling in Python and/or Go for security use cases like vulnerability management or compliance evidence.
- 5+ years applying SRE practices in production environments and 5+ years applying security fundamentals such as threat modeling and vulnerability management at scale.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting and operating secure, scalable cloud-native platforms embedding Zero Trust principles and automation.
- Skilled in incident leadership, cross-team collaboration, and balancing security with velocity and reliability at organizational scale.
- Has strong expertise in Kubernetes security, Infrastructure-as-Code with policy-as-code, security observability, and AI/ML workload security preferred but not mandatory.
