About This Role
- Design, develop, and automate enterprise-level Splunk monitoring solutions including custom Apps, Add-ons, dashboards, and alert frameworks.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, and Ansible for automated deployment and configuration of Splunk components.
- Optimize SPL queries and manage advanced data onboarding, scripting automation (Python, Shell), and collaboration within Agile teams to improve monitoring efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience in Splunk development and DevOps automation.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Splunk architecture components including Universal Forwarders, Heavy Forwarders, Indexers, Deployment Server, and Search Heads.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, and Ansible or Puppet.
- Experience in scripting with Python and Shell, and proficient in SPL and Regex for data extraction and query optimization.

- Experienced in building and customizing enterprise-grade Splunk Apps/Add-ons within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Skilled in integrating DevOps practices with Splunk deployments and automating complex pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
- Knowledgeable in both Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems, with capability to enforce technical standards and best practices across teams.
