About This Role
- Develop, test, and debug complex and critical software components primarily on Mainframe systems using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
- Provide technical expertise as a subject matter expert, assist in resolving complex technical challenges, and participate in design and code reviews.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with operations/support teams to troubleshoot production issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Mainframe development technologies: COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM.
- Strong programming, debugging skills, and familiarity with software development methodologies.
