About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain Python backend services with scalable RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud solutions primarily on Microsoft Azure or alternatively GCP, including use of Azure services like App Services, Functions, AKS, and Storage.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automated testing workflows, and production environments using Docker and Kubernetes within an Agile/Scrum team.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a mid-senior level Python Backend Developer.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, AKS, Storage, etc.) or equivalent GCP experience.
- Proven skills in designing RESTful APIs and scalable microservice architectures with proficiency in FastAPI and/or Django.
- Experienced in CI/CD, automated testing, Docker, Kubernetes in production, and fluent in English for cross-functional collaboration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Practitioner with strong cloud architecture skills, especially on Azure, comfortable with deployment and performance optimization.
- Experienced working in Agile/Scrum environments, contributing to code reviews, planning, and architecture discussions.
- Technical versatility indicated by familiarity or experience with big-data platforms (e.g., Databricks), Golang, full-stack skills, and/or infrastructure as code tools.
