About This Role
- Lead end-to-end SAP MDG Central Governance implementation focused on Material Master (MDG-M) and Supplier/Business Partner (MDG-S).
- Develop and customize SAP MDG solutions including workflows, validations, FPM/Web Dynpro UIs, and data replication to downstream S/4HANA systems and manufacturing applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate manufacturing master data requirements into technical specifications while troubleshooting and supporting production environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on techno-functional experience in SAP MDG with expertise in ABAP OO, Floorplan Manager, BRFplus, and Rule-Based Workflows.
- Strong functional knowledge of manufacturing master data including Material Master and Business Partner/Supplier domains.
- Experience configuring Data Replication Framework using IDocs, ALE, and SOA services for S/4HANA.
- Bachelor's degree required; SAP MDG certification preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in integrating SAP MDG with manufacturing domain master data and business processes, capable of managing cross-module dependencies (MM, SD, FI, PP).
- Comfortable working in a hybrid techno-functional role with ability to code in ABAP and engage directly with business users for requirement gathering and solution delivery.
- Has prior exposure to SAP MDG Consolidation, Mass Processing, and possibly SAP Fiori integration in manufacturing or supply chain sectors.
