About This Role
- Lead embedded hardware and firmware teams responsible for architecture, design, execution quality, and delivery of industrial drives and motion control electronics.
- Own MCU/SoC hardware and firmware architecture including boot, RTOS, drivers, communications, and hardware-software partitioning while driving design decisions balancing performance, cost, reliability, cybersecurity, and manufacturability.
- Provide hands-on contribution in design reviews, debugging prototypes, root cause analysis, mentoring team members, and ensure disciplined engineering processes and cross-functional collaboration.
Minimum Requirements
- 9 to 12+ years of experience in embedded systems development with strong firmware and hardware expertise.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or closely related field.
- Deep knowledge of MCU/SoC hardware design, analog/digital circuits, PCB design flows, EMC/EMI debugging, embedded C, real-time firmware (RTOS or baremetal), bootloader and firmware update mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, JTAG/SWD), industrial communication interfaces, and must have worked on industrial electronics like servo drives or frequency inverters.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technical lead or system architect recently promoted or with less than 1.5 years in a hands-on technical manager role leading 4 to 6 engineers.
- Strong cross-domain expertise blending embedded firmware and hardware with system-level reasoning across timing, power, and integration constraints.
- Experience collaborating with European or US customers and other stakeholders on requirements, design, and delivery in industrial electronics contexts.
