Lead Software Engineer - Python, Rest API, Microservices, Kafka/RabbitMQ, SQL, AWS/GCP

Lead design and development of scalable, resilient cloud-native microservices within Blue Yonder's Supply Chain Data Platform.

Translate business requirements into actionable user stories, prioritize backlog, and engage with stakeholders and operational teams to ensure service reliability and cost optimization.

Own triage and resolution of issues, lead root cause analysis, and drive automation to reduce operational pain and improve service quality.

7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in software development of large and complex enterprise applications.

Strong experience developing enterprise applications using Python and messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Demonstrable experience designing, building, deploying, and maintaining enterprise cloud solutions (MS Azure or equivalent).

Experience with DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, infrastructure automation, and secure architecture principles.

Practitioner who maintains strong hands-on development skills alongside architectural/design responsibilities.

Experienced working in Agile environments involving backlog grooming, planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Technically adept at cloud-native distributed systems, event-driven microservices, and continuous improvement of production-grade services.
