About This Role
- Owns the lifecycle of distributed fault-tolerant systems from inception through production maintenance, including operational support and post-mortems.
- Designs, builds, and maintains automation tools and CI/CD pipelines to improve system reliability, scalability, and deployment processes.
- Collaborates with development and release teams to balance feature releases with service-level objectives and optimize system capacity, performance, and cost.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in education, training, or work.
- 2+ years of experience in systems administration, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or development.
- Experience with container orchestration (OpenShift, Kubernetes), CI/CD processes, and scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience with Linux (RHEL) and/or Windows operating systems and source code control tools (Git platforms).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing scalable distributed systems with emphasis on automation and tooling to support fault-tolerance and maintainability.
- Familiar with continuous integration and deployment pipelines and able to mentor teams to improve these processes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring system support, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and collaboration with development/release teams.
