About This Role
- Provide technical leadership and manage priorities, deliverables, and timelines for high-impact software projects.
- Coach and align a distributed engineering team across goals and outcomes.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions underpinning core Google products.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years programming experience in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go.
- Minimum 5 years experience testing and launching software products; 3 years in software design and architecture.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader with minimum 3 years leading project teams and setting technical direction within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong background in data structures and algorithms (8 years) and full-stack software development across scalable systems.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment on technical strategies and high-impact projects.
