About This Role
- Lead engineering teams to design, build, and operate enterprise-grade real-time streaming data platforms with high reliability and scalability.
- Own technical direction, code quality, architecture decisions, and operational resilience of critical streaming systems at scale.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives while mentoring engineers and enforcing engineering best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience running real-time streaming solutions in production with accountability for reliability and operational stability.
- Strong software engineering skills with fluency in Java and experience delivering production-grade code for business-critical systems.
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams, mentoring developers, and driving delivery in complex enterprise environments.
- Role location requirement: Based out of Pune.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior engineering leader with deep expertise in streaming architectures, distributed data platforms, and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar, Flink).
- Experienced in regulated or similarly controlled environments like financial services, with strong understanding of risk, governance, and operational controls.
- Capable of balancing hands-on technical involvement with people leadership and strategic decision-making in high-stakes, complex enterprise settings.
