About This Role
- Lead development of Qt-based GUI and software/hardware integration for advanced test equipment used globally in video, audio, gaming, and computing sectors.
- Drive the full software development life cycle in an agile environment, coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to prioritize and deliver high-performance systems.
- Mentor team members, breakdown team tasks, and engage directly with customers and support teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 7 years software development experience for embedded platforms using Qt and C++.
- At least 3 years of significant Qt and QML experience with demonstrated UX skills.
- Experience in Linux multi-threaded development and working with hardware engineers on interrupt-driven custom hardware interfaces.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in software architectural definition, design, implementation, and testing from concept through maintenance in embedded and hardware-interfacing contexts.
- Skilled at working in agile, multi-disciplinary teams with strong communication skills and experience coordinating cross-team deliveries.
- Technical background with additional skills in Java, Python, Linux kernel-level programming, and network/TCP/IP protocols is a plus.
