About This Role
- Define and lead architecture for complex, distributed, high-throughput systems, influencing technology strategy and investment prioritization at senior levels.
- Lead design reviews, architecture governance, and establish enterprise-wide standards and reference architectures, representing Engineering & Architecture in senior governance forums.
- Architect and optimize cloud-native (AWS) and data solutions across relational and NoSQL databases, integrating AI/ML and GenAI into production platforms with operational rigor.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, IT, or software engineering concepts.
- 10+ years applied experience spanning data architecture and software development, including 5+ years with formal software engineering training or certification.
- Deep expertise in data architecture including relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB), plus experience designing large-scale data platforms and data governance.
- Proven experience with AWS production workloads, Java 17+ or equivalent programming languages, microservices, event-driven architecture, and AI/ML integration (LLMs, RAG, vector DBs).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior technical leader capable of driving enterprise-wide architecture standards and technology strategy, with stakeholder management at senior leadership level.
- Strong background across software engineering and data architecture in complex, regulated environments (preferably financial services).
- Skilled in integrating AI-assisted engineering practices and responsible AI usage with deep knowledge of cloud-native platform modernization and operational excellence.
