About This Role
- Own end-to-end design and development of scalable SaaS products aligning with product roadmaps and business goals.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, perform design/code reviews, and drive architectural standards across projects.
- Identify and address technical debt and complex technical issues through root cause analysis and effective solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 1 year as Principal Software Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, service-oriented and event-driven architectures, cloud infrastructure applications.
- Remote work in India, core hours 2 PM – 11 PM IST, Monday to Friday.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading product development lifecycle from technical specification to production in SaaS environments.
- Strong skills in mentorship and technical leadership within agile teams, including roadmap collaboration and stakeholder advising.
- Deep technical proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Javascript frameworks, cloud systems, and familiarity with messaging technologies like NATS.IO, Jetstream, Kafka, and Go.
