About This Role
- Manage installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of Ab Initio platforms including Co-Operating System, EME, Metadata Hub, and Conduct>It across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Administer Linux/Unix servers supporting Ab Initio environments and handle platform migrations, server refreshes, and infrastructure upgrades coordinating with relevant teams.
- Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, issue troubleshooting, security management (including LDAP/Active Directory integration), release deployment support, and drive automation for operational activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience; 5+ years specifically in Ab Initio platform administration is desired.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting skills (Bash, KornShell, Python preferred) mandatory.
- Experience with Ab Initio components: Co>Operating System, EME, Conduct>IT, GDE, Metadata Hub required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline preferred but not explicitly mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 7-9 years of IT experience with deep expertise in Ab Initio environment management across multiple stages (Development to Production).
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-availability, mission-critical data platforms with strong incident management and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (OCP, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), DevOps tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), enterprise schedulers, and monitoring tools signals high-fit for modernization and operational efficiency focus.
