About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services (APIs and event-driven components) using Java technologies such as Spring Boot.
- Develop, deploy, and support applications on AWS, leveraging core services for compute, storage, networking, security, and observability.
- Participate in production support including on-call incident response, root-cause analysis, and driving improvements in reliability and resiliency.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficient in Java programming (Spring Boot, RESTful services, microservices patterns).
- Working knowledge of AWS fundamentals including IAM/access control and monitoring/logging.
- Experience in developing and maintaining backend systems with relational and/or NoSQL data stores.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working in an agile environment with CI/CD, application resiliency, and security focus.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB/RDS, CloudWatch.
- Comfortable validating AI-assisted code and security recommendations with strong security awareness and data sensitivity understanding.
